Please help me find this person! I'm searching for an african american soldier/veteran who was stationed in Karlsruhe/Germany/Europe in the mid 70s. He was possibly situated in the Gerszewski Barracks. He is tall (approx 6'5") and got a large scar on his chest. He used to tell my mom that he's got the scar from a fight with a tiger. This might document a particular sense of humor he used to have, acording to my mother. She also told me his name when I was a kid. Unfortunately I’m not 100% sure about his full name since my mom died 17 years ago and I missed the chance asking her to write down my dad’s full name. That’s why I come up with various names. His first name must be either „Jeff” or „Jim”. His surname might be either Butler, Truesdale, Shoesdale (other spellings possible); or one which begins with an „M” (like Jeff M.)Do you know him or do you have any idea where/how can I find him, or relatives/friends of him? Or do you have any idea who could know about this, or who could know someone who could know something? My mom past away when I was 13. While Jeff/Jim & my mom were friends in 1977, she used to live & work in Niefern (a small town near Karlsruhe/Germany). My mom was German & white (please look at the pictures). Her name's Angelika Werner. In summer 1977 Jeff/Jim went back to the States probably without knowing that my mom just got pregnant shortly before. This is Jeremias a son of a father he never met in his 29 years of live. A son who would love to know his (black) family, nothing more nothing less. Please help me find my father and/or his family.

PS: It's possible that these people do know something about the whereabouts of my dad:
Häusermanns (probably a family who used to live in Germany)Frank (he's from California and has been stationed in 1977 in the south of Germany)Frank Burell (probably former MSG MP)and probably another soldier who is a nativ american (I was told it might be easyer to locate a nativ american, even though i have no name of him at all, since there was a very litle amount of nativ american soldiers in 1977 in south Germany). A few months ago, a Mr. Lutz Linde told me, that he can remember a pretty tall african american soldier with a large scar on his chest, driving a pick up, in 1977 in Karlsruhe. According to Mr. Linde, this tall black soldier went by the surname “Butler”, and was PFC with the 517th Maintenance Comp. and was involved in stock car race track & motorpool. Unfortunately Mr. Linde does not remember the first name of this man. Does anyone of you know any of these people?
Please help!
